Discrepant Event
So how did you guys feel about the discrepant event? I did not enjoy doing this for Orvil's class because I was so nervous to get up in front of the class and talk about my event because we had to memorize what we were talking about. I tried to go the whole time but it was hard to extend my event to meet the five minute mark. I was relieved when it was done, though. I also liked watching the rest of my classmates events, many were very interesting.

I also did not enjoy doing this because I also get very nervous and anxious before I do a presentation or a speech in front of alot of people. I enjoyed watching the the rest of the studnets do their discrepant, they were interesting and I learned alot from them. I think the time limit was a little unfair, I tried to make the time as well but it was hard and when I get nervous I tend to speak faster to get it over and done with.
ReplyDeleteI also felt nervous too!! Trying to remember what you say when you are nervous is very hard. Then making sure you have the correct science behind it is important too.I was nervous someone was going to ask me a question that i did not now. I wish that we could have notes so if we forgot something we could just glace at them. Otherwise this was alright. I would have done it different because real teachers are allowed to use notes.
