I learned how to make a website on google. I decided to make one for the family that I babysit for. I wanted them to have a place to put pictures and create their own page on the website that tells their name, age, activites they like to do and pictures. The children really enjoye sitting down one by one with me. The parents also thought it was very nice of me to set up a family website for them. They plan on continuing to use the website. The children are excited to type more things and take more pictures to upload onto the website.
I definately plan on using a website for my classroom to communicate with my parents as well as my students. It informs the parents of what is going on daily in the classroom and they can look on the website for upcoming field trips and other events.
I liked learning how to create a website but I was frustrated when I found out that our host teachers did not want to have a website so basically I needed to make a whole new website which I was not going to do. Someday in the future I might make a website for my class so that the parents can stay updated on what we are doing.
ReplyDeleteI have learned how important it is to learn how to create a website. I will definitely use this in my classroom for when students miss school they can look on the website for the homework and note. If students forget what they learned they can also use the website to look at the notes. I really like creating a website i found it very fun.
